Lubu Medallions!

-China Glaze Lubu Heels
-China Glaze Medallion

Started off with two coats Lubu Heels (tried to swatch the color but it was so hard to capture the actual color on camera) and ONE coat of Medallion. I've had my eye on Lubu for so long and finally got a chance to pick it up! It's a gorgeous black with loads of super fine ruby glitter. And I found Medallion marked down in the clearance section at Sally's and had to get it. It's so gold and glittery and just perfect! After using them I'm honestly favoring Medallion! I'm a sucker for immensely glittery polishes :p I've gotten tons of other polishes since my last post I've just been so behind.. But there's probably no need to apologize because it's not like I have very many followers anyways :/ Okay.. enough complaining! I'll be posting lots more soon, I promise!

Oh! And I'm so excited for POOLSIDE to come out tomorrow :D

Penguins!

-China Glaze White on White (base)
-American Apparel Hassid (heads and black eyes)
-China Glaze For Audrey (blue eyes)
-Sephora by OPI Leaf Him at the Alter (green eyes)
-American Apparel Manila (beaks)
-American Apparel Coney Island (cheeks)

Well I'm not really sure what inspired me to do this but I just love penguins and thought they might be cute on my nails! I made the heads different sizes on purpose just so they all look unique. And you can't tell much from the picture but some of them have cute pinky cheeks! I'm not very great at free hand designs but.. I'll get better :D

I'm usually not that into blue polishes in general but this is such a gorgeous blue grey color, I had to pick it up :)

Ruffian

-China Glaze Devotion
-Illamasqua Harsh
-Zoya Suvi

One coat of Devotion (metallic silver color), one coat Harsh (silver glitter) and two coats of Suvi (emerald green). My first ruffian manicure! I like the overall outcome but the glitter underneath the green is a little distracting because it looks bubbley :/ I'll probably try using a matte color as the final coat next time! :)

Spongey

-Sephora by OPI What's a tire jack? (matte)
-MAC Phosphor

Started off with two coats of the matte black, sponged two layers of gold on top, then sponged a small amount of black over that just to emphasize the contrast between the matte and frost. They turned out lookin a little on the green side but an okay look overall :) Also, what's a tire jack is an awesome matte black but I've come to notice that it chips quite easily :/

..ke$ha much? :P

First Post!

-OPI Alpine Snow (matte)
-MAC Vintage Vamp
-MAC Illegal Purple
-China Glaze Devotion
-Illamasqua Harsh

My first attempt at marbled nails, but I think they came out pretty nice! The two MAC polishes are originally very dark colors but they came out a lot lighter than I had hoped. It can be a pain finding polishes that work well with this technique but I will definitely be experimenting with this again!
